Employees – Allows ESO Holders to hedge, monetize and, therefore, maximize the value of their vested employee stock options.
Corporations – Offering the iOptions transactions to employees will help close the “value gap” between the shareholder-perceived cost of granting the employee stock options and the value employees ascribe to their options. Corporations will benefit from a recruiting and retention perspective by issuing employee stock options that permit employees to monetize the entire remaining time value of their vested employee stock options prior to maturity.
Financial Advisors and Broker Dealers – Permits financial advisors and broker-dealers to (i) assist clients with initial divestiture and hedging strategies, which will build significant relationship equity; and (ii) increase assets under management, and therefore, increase fee based revenue.
Options Exchanges – Introduces new retail customers to the listed options market.
